I work as a marketing assistant for a couple of wonderful real estate agents and each year I try to come up with something new for each holiday mailer. This picture is what I came up with for Memorial Day this year. I took this in Arlington National Cemetery...that is my son and my husband. It was the first time my son and I had ever been there and it is quite an amazing site. My poor husband was such a good sport about wearing his uniform out on a hot day...especially because he was a little uncomfortable about being in uniform when he didn't have to be. It's funny though, he was somewhat uncomfortable but I felt such a sense of pride walking with him. He is prior Army and is now in the Reserves. The Army was a hard life, but it is so admirable. I'm so proud of the fact that he still wants to be a part of that. It scares me every day that he might get sent away, but I guess we'll just cross that bridge when we get to it. The men and women who serve our country, no matter what branch they are in or what their job is, should be given the utmost respect and admiration. If you see someone in uniform, maybe just go up to them and say thank you...it'll mean the world to them.

How profound! This picture just says so much about our country--I love that Jason is showing Lucas the cemetary with the Washington Monument in the background. What a wonderful wonderful picture. I'm sure your Real Estate friends will love it. -Christine
