It's so wonderful when families come back to me again and again. They truly become friends and, well, it just makes me feel good. I've known Emily's family for a while…about 4 years I suppose, when I took another daughter's senior pictures. Then it was her brother's senior pictures and this fall will be her youngest sister. I had not met Emily before our wedding consult, but knowing the others and her parents, I knew I'd love her. And I was right!! Emily and Micah are simply perfect for each other. I thought at first that they seemed SO young (although these days, everyone seems young to me), until I thought about the fact that I was a little bit younger when I got married. For being young, they sure do have it together. They know who they are and who they are as a couple. They complement each other in ways that many people only dream of. There is an ease with them that is just amazing. This all carried over to their wedding. It was laid back with a rustic beauty that makes photographers drool. And fun! What a fun crowd…that certainly opens the door for great photos. Most of all, it was wonderful to watch Emily and Micah truly enjoy their wedding weekend with the people that they love most. I did not know Micah's family ahead of time, but they were equally as welcoming and warm. I'm so lucky to do this job. I feel so fortunate that people ask me to capture these most important moments in their lives. It is a blessing.
A big ole shout out to my partner in crime,
Amy Vanicky. She's amazing and I absolutely LOVE shooting weddings with her. So much fun and what an incredible talent.

Superb photographs!! I really love the way groom looks at bride. They got married at an incredible venue. You know dear rental halls in Philadelphia are also very pretty and grand. They are quite affordable as well!
