…why yes, yes she is. After my winter photography hibernation, I AM BACK. Phew. This winter was pretty sucky, if I do say so myself. And I do. Say so. 

ANYWAY, you know I love me some senior pictures…and what a way to start off this Spring! This sweet sweet girl will be going to college this fall to become a kindergarten teacher…she'll be perfect for that job! We laughed a lot and, oh yeah, took some pictures. Have I mentioned that I get to photograph the most beautiful girls?? She is no exception. 

:: SURPRISE ::

...bet you'd forgotten that I actually have a blog! It's been an absolutely INSANE fall. As most of you know, my husband was deployed in early May to Kuwait/Afghanistan...it was 6 challenging months, but he returned last week unscathed and happy to be home. This fall, actually starting in August, proved to be my busiest season ever...which is wonderful, but also difficult while trying to be a decent single parent...hence, no blog. It's still pretty crazy busy for me, but I feel the need to start getting things back to the way they were...updating you all with the goings on around here, whether you like it or not :)

So here is round one of my update...next round will be my fall weddings! 3 within a week of each other...makes me tired just thinking about it! Thank you for sticking with me through this difficult yet wonderful fall...I truly appreciate it.

beauty overload...

...so, as I mentioned in the last post, I've had a LOT of catching up to do with this crazy Maryland weather. We have had so much rain in the last two months...I feel badly complaining about it knowing what Texas and Oklahoma are going through, but enough is enough! I wish I could just send it down there. Anyway, with all of this rain came many postponements...sometimes in the middle of a session. So this past week was really beautiful and I took advantage of it. I had to! (ps, it's raining again) Because I've had so many seniors in the past week and a half, I'm going to show you a few of my favorites from each of their sessions. These girls make my job so much fun! ...this beauty has an amazing one! Yep...another senior. Not just another senior...another fabulous senior! Miss {E} is just the sweetest girl...and smart and beautiful and and and... We had so much fun together. I always tell my seniors that we WILL have fun. There's no reason not to! When you're having fun and laughing and being goofy you end up with some great, authentic photographs. Perfect!

...the lovely Miss {S}...what a beauty. Again...I'm the luckiest photographer ever! This beautiful senior happens to be the twin sister of another stunning senior I photographed a few weeks ago...perhaps you'll recognize her in one of the pics =)  These girls...all of them...have been so amazing to work with. I'm not kidding. Not just blowing smoke. It's been a surreal experience for me. I'm so lucky to have a "job" that I truly love. Lucky. Lucky. Lucky. Here is the beautiful {S}...enjoy your preview...
