...is such a beautiful place! Maryland really has some treasures if you take the time to look for them. We decided to go on a spur of the moment hike today...it turned out to be a little further than anticipated. Our leisurely stroll turned into a 2.5 mile hike. And when I say hike, I mean HIKE. It really doesn't make any sense how it could be SO much more uphill than down. I'm not kidding! Once the whining ceased (no...it wasn't me -- this time), we actually had quite the enjoyable stroll. And by stroll I mean uphill rock climb. I was more worried about dropping my camera than any of us getting hurt. Is that wrong??? Anyway, here are a couple of shots from the day...not great, but you get the idea.
