...and you may see something spectacular. As we were driving home yesterday remarking on a swampy mess on the side of the road my husband spotted this beautiful swan right in the middle of it. We drove home quickly, got my camera, and drove back hoping that we would still find it there. It wasn't as close as earlier, but there it was. This amazing creature suddenly transformed what was, to us, just a mess into a magical scene. And then our eyes opened further...Canadian geese, herons, a red winged black bird...all of these treasures right in front of us. Think of all the things we miss because we're not paying attention. There is beauty in every day if we take the time to notice. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!
