there's no place...

...like home. Scarecrow, I think I'll miss you the most. It's so hard to visit the ones you love and then have to say goodbye for the umpteenth time. I guess it's better than counting down the minutes until you leave. I'm lucky that way. I so enjoy spending time with my family, even when it's for something serious like last week. Sitting in the hospital, waiting for the 12 year old neurosurgeon to come out and tell us that my sister was okay was one of the longest waits ever. Not a fan of hospitals. Nope...smelly, stressful, depressing...not my favorite place. By the way, she's doing great. Just thought you'd want to know. And no, I didn't take pictures at the hospital. I did take some cool incision pics, but I'll spare you those. Anyway, my point is that I love my family. We've been through a lot together and have come out stronger than we could have ever imagined. My heart aches when I have to leave them. I hope they know that. Here are a few photos of my week in NY. With love....

Oh my gosh Ash. Not only are you a fantastic (phenomenal) photographer, but such a beautiful writer as well. I'm sitting her just reading your blog over and over, and looking at the pictures...and yes, crying. It is so hard to say goodbye to you. It's so natural with you here, it's hard when you leave. We'll be down to see you though!!!
I love you so much.
Thank you...for EVERYTHING!
Love Always,
Morgen
