:: MY Baltimore ::

With all of this chaos in Baltimore, I'm trying very hard to focus the positive. It's disheartening in so many ways. I love Baltimore. It's one of my most favorite cities. It's unfortunate that the rest of the world is seeing such a small cross section of this wonderfully diverse city. My hope is that in the days to come the images that will emerge are those of residents helping one another, cleaning up their neighborhoods, and rebuilding the businesses that locals have poured their blood, sweat and tears into. THAT is a true representation of Baltimore.

You all know that one of my favorite parts of the city is Camden Yards. Truly my happy place. On a day that the Orioles are playing the White Sox in a closed game (no fans, no music, no jumbotron…an odd decision if you ask me), I thought I'd share my pictures from Sunday's game.
(I should note that we had absolutely no problems in the city on Sunday)

**I ended up watching the game and they did actually use the jumbotron and have some music. Very strange though. Caleb Joseph playing to the fake crowd, Chris Davis throwing the ball into the stands to the "fans", and Gary Thorne pretending to be a golf announcer…hysterical.

always a nice way to end the game

we went to the game for my son's 18th birthday and the team ended up scoring 18 runs! We're going to have to bring him back every year!!
